I love, love, love trolling around junk shops and antique stores looking for objects to inspire my next piece. One of my favorite places is the neighborhood antique mall, Queen of Hearts, in Alpharetta, GA. On May 17th from 6-8pm I will be displaying some of my work using vintage objects from I acquired from the Queen. There will also be baked goods provided by an amazing local bakery, Sweet Things. It is a great opportunity to shop for treasures, snack, and support local female entrepreneurs.
I hope to see you there!!

Museum Quality at the Palm Beach Fine Craft Show
It has been a very busy few weeks. I have traveled to North Carolina to teach a workshop, then on to Baltimore for the biggest show of the North East. But now is the show I have been waiting for: Crafts America's Palm Beach Fine Craft Show. Crafts America consistently presents beautiful shows with museum quality artisans. This year I will be participating in this amazing event and presenting more of my new collection March 2nd - 4th. If you are anywhere in the area you don't want to miss this opportunity to enjoy a wide range of fine craft and perhaps welcome a treasure or two into your home.

On the Road to Pocosin Arts Folk School
Offerings |
I'm so excited to be heading to the Outer Banks of North Carolina to teach a figurative workshop this week at Pocosin Arts Folk School. The wonderful and talented Darrell Ezekiel will be assisting me and lending his creative energy to the mix! I can't wait!
--And maybe we can find so great pickin' places along the way. Is that too much for a girl to ask?
