I'm so excited to be heading to the Outer Banks of North Carolina to teach a figurative workshop this week at Pocosin Arts Folk School. The wonderful and talented Darrell Ezekiel will be assisting me and lending his creative energy to the mix! I can't wait!

Figurative Workshop at Pocosin Arts Folk School

I am so excited that a new workshop I will be teaching is less than a week away! We are going to have tons of fun exploring how to build two different sized torsos using two different techniques. It's time to celebrate and get your holiday cheer on in our Nation's Capital!! The 24th Annual Washington Craft Show is this weekend, December 2nd-4th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. This is one of the most beautiful shows I have been honored to participate in. The craftsmanship and talent is out of this world!

"Down the Rabbit Hole" found a new home last night in Houston! Thanks to all who came out and supported the Mossrock Studio & Fine Art Gallery. I enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new ones!

Heading out to Houston today for the opening of my new work at Mossrock Studio and Gallery! Hooray!! I can hardly wait to get there! Andy's gallery is beautiful and the people are so supportive. If you are in the neighborhood stop by on Friday (October 7th) from 7-9 pm and enjoy the festivities!

The ZAPP conference was awesome!!! I met so many amazing people and walked away with a zillion ideas buzzing in my head about marketing myself and collaborating with festival stakeholders and galleries to promote art!! Thanks ZAPP for hosting the conference. I can't wait for next year!

If you are in Atlanta this week try to stop by the ZAPP Conference at the W Hotel in Midtown for artists and art fair professionals. I will be speaking and participating during Tuesday's symposium "Trends in a Parallel Universe," which is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM. It will be moderated by Stephen King (no, not that one!) and the other panelists include Mitch Menchaca, Carlton Turner, Tucker Berta, and Michael Salguero.

It'll be a great conference and I hope to see you there!
